Wallpaper setup instructions

  • These instructions are for the creation of Wallpaper that changes daily on your iPhone Home Screen.

    1. In your iPhone Photos create a new album and name it “Wallpaper - phone”

    2. Save the images from the “Ars Sacra phone” file to your iPhone Photos “Wallpaper - phone” album.

    3. Download the iPhone Shortcut (“Ars Sacra wallpaper phone”) using the link below.

    4. Open the Ars Sacra shortcut by clicking on the three dots and select the blue “Wallpaper” option, then check the wallpaper screen you want to use (if you have multiple wallpaper screens set up). Go back to the All Shortcut page and click in the middle of the Ars Sacra shortcut icon to run it.

    5. Open the All Shortcuts page on your iPhone and click on the Automation tab at the bottom of the page. Set automation for Ars Sacra wallpaper to “Run Immediately”. Do not turn on “Notify when Run” option. Set When to 1:00 AM daily. Set Do to the Ars Sacra wallpaper Shortcut.

    6. Test the Ars Sacra Shortcut by pressing it. The Sacred Art image for the day should appear as the wallpaper.

    7. The Ars Sacra Shortcut should run every day at 1:00AM and change the wallpaper.

  • These instructions are for the creation of Wallpaper that changes daily on your device Home Screen. (Note: This should also apply to iPad and desktop Apple products)

    1. In your device Photos create a new album and name it “Wallpaper - screen”

    2. Save the images from the “Ars Sacra screen” file to your device Photos “Wallpaper - screen” album.

    3. Download the device Shortcut (“Ars Sacra wallpaper laptop”) using the link below.

    4. In order to automate the shortcut, you will need to download the “Shortery” app from the Apple App Store.

    5. Open the Shortery app and click on the “New Automation” button. Name the automation “Ars Sacra” and select the “Ars Sacra wallpaper laptop” shortcut from the drop down.

    6. Check “Enable Automation” and “Run When Mac is Locked” options.

    7. Highlight the “Wake Up” box on the last line in order to run the shortcut every time the device wakes up.

    8. Test the Ars Sacra Shortcut by pressing it. The Sacred Art image for the day should appear as the wallpaper.

    9. The Ars Sacra Shortcut should run every day when the device wakes up.

  • These instructions are for the creation of Wallpaper that changes daily on your Android phone screen.

    1. Install “Wallpaper Changer” app (Download Wallpaper Changer).

    2. Open the app and go to Settings.

    3. Enable "Change Lock Screen Wallpaper".

    4. Set Change Interval to 1 day.

    5. Select the “Ars Sacra phone” file where your Sacred Art images are stored.

    6. Enable "Use File Name Order" (so images change based on their names).

    7. Tap Apply to activate the daily wallpaper rotation.

    Now, Every Day...

    • The wallpaper will automatically update at midnight with the correct image.
